One-on-One Personal Training & Clinical Exercise
If you want a purpose built fully supervised and completely private training facility, we have just what you're after. The Built for Motion Training Lab is a private fitness facility located in Auckland's North Shore (New Zealand). We specialise in clinical exercise, in other words highly tailored exercise programmes to meet your unique needs, for example:
We offer tailored exercise prescriptions based on your goals, a comprehensive medical and lifestyle history, postural assessment, and movement pattern screening. So you get what you want and what you need. Our goal is to get you moving well with corrective exercise where necessary, and then moving often, so you get the results you want as quickly and safely as possible. We'll even throw in some fun.
What to Expect
After you make a booking we'll email you a medical and exercise history form to fill out. This information is essential to tailoring your exercise programme, is an important safety precaution, and forms the basis of your first consultation in which we will carefully go through the form, discuss your specific goals, and conduct a posture and movement pattern screen.
After your initial consultation, we will arrange two more visits to coach you through the various self-manual therapy techniques and exercises in your programme.
Thereafter you can arrange further one-on-one training sessions in our private facility. Many clients follow their programmes at home or a commercial gym, and only see us intermittently to ensure everything is going according to plan, to be re-screened, and to update their workout programme. Our goal is to get you moving well, so we recommend re-screening and programme modifications every 4–8 weeks depending on your progress.
- Exercise for medical conditions like type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, arthritis, metabolic syndrome, non-alcoholic steatohepatitis, etc.
- Strength and conditioning around injuries and other limitations.
- Exercise for those in their 50s, 60s, and 70s.
